Honey the Brushtail Possum – is a native Australian nocturnal, semi-arboreal marsupial of the family Phalangeridae. Honey was found struggling to survive due to the effects of exudative dermatitis which had ravaged her entire face, ears and eyes. Honey has been under the care of one of our volunteers since May 2018. Slowly the dermatitis is healing but it is a long journey.
We hope that Honey will be released back into the wild in the coming months. Please stay updated on Honey’s progress via this website or on our Facebook page.
